FRUGAL FRIDAYS RECIPE Sazon Fried Chicken Wings

 Hello Community,

Welcome to Frugal Fridays, where we share frugal recipes using nothing more than food collected from our local pantry in the South Bronx.

Here is today's recipe:

SAZON FRIED CHICKEN WINGS

You will need:

  • 6 Chicken Wings
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 Packet of Sazon Seasoning
  • Extra Light Stir Fry Olive Oil
1) In a bowl, beat 2 eggs and add 1 Sazon seasoning packet. In another bowl, add 1 1/2 cups of flour.

2) Dip your wings in the egg mixture, then dip your wings in flour.

3) Pour 1/2 inch of olive oil into a frying pan and place on medium heat.

4) Place wings in the frying pan and cover with a lid. Turn your wings every ten minutes until fully cooked. Cooking time will be determined by how big your wings are. They should be golden brown and shouldn't bleed when you poke them with a fork.

Serve with dipping sauce as an option.
